Courtney has been a financial advisor with Stifel Nicolaus since 2009. Before she returned to her hometown of Redding in 2006, she was a volunteer with the Lutheran Church teaching English as a Second Language in Macau China, a Korean linguist in the US Army and, for five years, operated a fitness and yoga business.
Courtney holds a Masters of Business Administration from Western Governors University, a Bachelors of Arts in English from Concordia University, Irvine, and an AA in Korean from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California.
She was Charter President and Board Member of the Active 20-30 Club Redding and was honored with Lifetime Membership status.
She is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce currently serving as Officer and Director on the Board, and was awarded Chamber’s Ambassador of the Year in 2012.
Courtney was recognized as one of Record Searchlight’s 20 Under 40 Emerging Leaders for 2012, she is an active Redding Rotary member, a Leadership Redding 2013 class graduate, and instructs a weekly yoga class at the YMCA.
She and her husband Adam’s greatest joys are their two children, a son, Rook, age five, and a daughter, Pepper, age two.
